1. Who we are
Hungry for Tea is made by GIE Capital Ltd, trading as BR Productions, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16746326). GIE Capital Ltd is responsible for looking after your details (the data controller). Contact: hello@hungryfortea.com.
2. What we collect
If you join the list, we keep your email address and, if you share it, your first name and what you are interested in. If you send a report, we keep the report text and any stats text you paste in.
3. Why
To send you news about Hungry for Tea. That's all. We don't sell or share your details.
4. How it's stored
Submissions are stored in our own database hosted by Supabase in London.
5. Who can see it
Only us.
6. Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally. The 3D monster viewer loads its code from jsDelivr, a public code service, which sees your IP address like any website you visit.
7. The game
The game only checks hungryfortea.com for updates. No personal data is sent. You can turn this off in Settings > About.
8. How long
Waiting list details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Report submissions are kept until we have dealt with them, or until you ask us to remove them.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@hungryfortea.com. If you're unhappy, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
10. How to be removed
Email hello@hungryfortea.com and ask us to remove your details. We will do it.
11. Buying the game or merch
The game is sold through itch.io and our merch through Teemill. They take your payment and order details under their own privacy policies, and we never see your card details. If itch.io shares your email address with us when you buy, we only use it for news about the game, and you can ask us to remove it.
12. Children
The sign-up list is for adults. If you're under 16, please ask a parent or carer to sign up for you.
